Social Nights Return

October sees the long awaited return of our popular social nights which were placed on hold early last year due to Covid-19.

The social nights were started by support staff at Community Care Options who were frustrated by the limited opportunities for social interaction for adults with disabilities in the Bolton area. Taking place on the first Tuesday of each month the events are open to all adults in the Bolton area with any form of disability or mental health problem. The events started in March 2014 and quickly proved to be very popular. We are sure that our clients aren’t the only people who have missed their monthly get together over the last 18 months, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back and hopefully seeing some new faces.

We are happy to be returning to our previous venue, The Railway Club on Green Lane, Bolton, where the bar will be open and pasties will be available to purchase. There will be a nominal charge of £1 on the door to help with costs, entry is free to carers, family members etc.

The format of the evenings will remain the same with bingo, karaoke and a disco. Attendees are encouraged to actively participate and to organise the various activities themselves with Comco staff on hand to facilitate and offer assistance if needed. Doors open at 7pm and the evening ends at 10pm.

Social Nights are held on the first Tuesday of every month, starting 5th October 2021. Everyone is welcome and no advance booking is needed.
